The Church

You may think that the church is the building, or a religious organisation or even an old fashioned social club that's now irrelevant to modern life. Well, you may not be wrong, but there must be something else to it than that ?

The church, is a group of people who share a belief.  Encompassing more than our little group, or even all of the country. A belief that there is something more than life, and life has more to offer to us than can be seen in the pages of a glossy magazine.

That we all have a seed of something special within us. A part of our being that makes us body, soul and spirit. That special seed of the spirit that prompts us to ask "Is this all there is ?"

God set that seed in all of us, and his son, Jesus, gave us the way to make it germinate and grow.  It grows not to invade or destroy our lives, but to give us peace of mind, happiness and security. To give our lives a new dimension and joyfulness.

We become more than we could ever be, it's not a pain free journey, but its a very exciting one ! We are the people who share this journey... The Church.

We all started it the same way, just by saying to Jesus, I want to come too.
